The research firm Sensor Tower, conducted an interesting survey which showed that the average iPhone owner (in the USA) spends 35 dollars annually in apps. The purchases made on Apple App Store relate mostly games.
It is estimated that around 70% of total revenue comes from the piece of gaming. So the 35 dollars. that each user spends time, the 24.5 dollars. go in gaming. Music is the second most efficient class taking the 3.40 dollars. (from 35 dollars.), the 1.8 dollars. spent on social networking apps, the 1 dollars. goes to the entertainment category and 40 minutes go to lifestyle apps. other 18 classes share the remaining 6.80 dollars.
Most apps that are installed on mobile is back games, the iPhone has means 10.5 games, 3.4 photo-video apps, 3.3 social networking apps, 2.3 lifestyle apps.
